The Story Of Mary V.
I live with and care for my grandmother, who is 88 years old. She has Parkinson’s disease and basically requires round the clock care. She also has lots of other age related ailments, from chronic joint pain to poor eyesight.
Previously, I had to spend a lot of time and money on her medications, I couldn’t hold a steady job, and in general, I devoted almost every day to her needs. Most doctors we saw were dismissive and basically told us something along the lines of how there wasn’t much to be done given her age. And yet, I still felt certain there would be some solution out there that would facilitate my grandmother’s comfort and quality of life and also allow me to have some freedom and time for myself.
Through friends, I learned about the state’s medical marijuana program — I’d dabbled in it myself a few times, but now I became interested in the program in order to help my grandmother.
After reading about the provisions of the law and general state policy regarding the distribution of medical marijuana, I found an online service that offered exactly the services I needed – Dr. Weedy. First, I registered my grandmother, and then I myself registered as a caregiver and soon received the necessary permits to purchase medical cannabis and products containing CBD.
Once I received an electronic copy of the relevant MMJ documents, I immediately went to one of the nearest specialized MMJ dispensaries. Having presented my issued permission directly from my phone, I had no problems whatsoever with the purchase of several strains of marijuana for my grandmother, the ones suggested by the physician I spoke with. My grandmother started taking cannabis regularly, and after a few weeks we saw great improvement with her overall well-being, which was wonderful in and of itself and also meant that I was finally able to have a bit more time for myself every day and was able to resume my education and work training.
The process was super easy; after obtaining my permit, I paid a small fee and received my MMJ ID card by mail, with which I was free to visit all related medical institutions in California specialized in cannabis treatment. My grandmother is now feeling much better, and I was finally able to find time for myself – thanks to Dr. Weedy’s online service.
