It’s been a few years since we joined our partner, the Weed For Warriors Project, in their invaluable work advocating for veterans’ rights to access medical cannabis for therapeutic purposes. We believe it is a basic and essential right for every American veteran to be able to legally access safe, natural medicine – including medical marijuana – especially when it offers relief where traditional treatments may fall short.

Many veterans live with chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, sleep disorders, and other conditions related to their service. While pharmaceutical options exist, they don’t work for everyone and often come with difficult side effects. For many veterans, cannabis has become an alternative that restores quality of life – helping them rest, connect, and live with more stability and peace.

Why Medical Cannabis Matters for Veterans

  • PTSD: Studies suggest that cannabinoids may help regulate the brain’s fear and memory response, offering relief from intrusive thoughts and anxiety.
  • Pain Management: Medical cannabis is increasingly used as a non-opioid option for chronic pain, helping reduce dependency on medications that may be habit-forming.
  • Sleep and Mood: Many veterans report improved sleep patterns and lowered irritability or emotional distress when using cannabis therapeutically.

While progress has been made, veterans still face barriers accessing cannabis – from inconsistent state laws to cost concerns and lack of recognition at the federal level. That’s why community support truly matters.

Our Veterans Day Support

Today, to honor those who have served and to support veterans who rely on medical cannabis, we’re offering 20% off MMJ Cards in any state. The goal is simple: help remove cost as a barrier for veterans who need access to high-quality, legally protected medicine.
